Last week my husband and I headed up to one our favourite places, Byron, for a friend’s wedding. We’re always looking to explore new places and try new things, so this time we were thrilled to get to stay at The Byron at Byron, a beautiful resort & spa located amidst 45 acres of stunning rainforest. A few of the highlights were starting the day with yoga outside the spa, a great way to set your intention for the day ahead, and you leave feeling so energised. Next up was breakfast, I can rarely go past a breakfast buffet, and this one offered pretty much everything (including chia puddings and cacao balls for the healthy minded), not to mention the close proximity to the pool! Afterwards we headed poolside to read for a while on the cosy deck chairs before taking a quick dip. Walking around the resort is also an absolute must, the winding boardwalks take you through luscious greenery past a stunning lookout point, meditation area and lotus garden. If the beach is more your scene, there is also an access point behind the resort to Tallows, a stunning stretch of ocean and sand which is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon.
